Changing the New Zealand Flag
L.I: To make an information choice (a choice based on information).
SC:1. Read both sides
2. Respectful
3. choose the side that makes most sense to me
Today we had to choose 2 flags that will represent New Zealand. We were told to get into our thinking groups and write reasons why we should and shouldn't change the flag. We wrote down a list of them and shared our ideas and put them on the board. Then we had all of these reasons why we should or shouldn't change the flag and we had to make a choice. We then got a small paper that had on image of each of the 2 flags and under it was a small box. We had to tick one of the boxes and give it back to the teacher. I have picked the new flag because the colours represent New Zealand and It is to similar to the Australian flag.

Orientation
AAAAAAAA!! We were just filming as we saw a bear appear out of no where. We were just finishing off our awesome film. But all we heard was Roar!! The bear comes closer and closer as we move away from the bear. Suddenly we run off as fast as we can but the bear chases after us. Every step I take I lose energy. Finally we find a spot to hide but not for long.
This an orientation about a bear that interrupts people when they are filming.

Oobleck
This is a picture of me doing oobleck at science. Instructions: First you get some corn flour, some water, a plate or bowl and some food colouring if you want to make it a different colour. Then you pour the flour into the plate/bowl and make a little circle in the middle, then mix food coloulering into water and pour it into the circle of flour. Just slowly mix and add some water slowly. You should notice that notice is is have to mix and that's you know you have made it. You can try tap your hand on the top and it wont sink but if you put your finger in slowly it would go straight through. And when you pick it up and squeeze it together it turns into a liquid so that means it is a liquid. The more pressure you put on it it turns it to liquid (Non newtonian liquid)
